Job Title: CTE Health Science Instructor (Brewer High School, Fort Worth, TX)

We are currently looking for a full time CTE Instructor to join our Health Science Department. This position is a full-time teaching position with no athletic training responsibilities, however, PRN opportunities may be available through the Brewer Sports Medicine Department.

Primary Purpose: Provide students with appropriate learning activities and experiences in the core academic subject area assigned to help them fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth. Enable students to develop competencies and skills to function successfully in society.

Qualifications:

• Education/Certification: Bachelor’s degree from accredited university
• Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements or required training for subject and level assigned
• Valid license from Texas Advisory Board of Athletic Trainers
• National Athletic Trainers’ Association Certification (preferred)
• Valid CPR/AED Certification
• Teaching experience (preferred)

Terms of Employment:

Full-Time/Term of Contract: 187 days
