Busy Orthopaedic practice seeks friendly, personable, goal-oriented, self-motivated professional, licensed Athletic Trainer for high volume practice. (Dallas, TX)
The ideal candidate is highly organized, able to successfully multi-task and communicates effectively w/ Physicians, co-workers, and patients.
You will work alongside other LAT’s in our rehab clinic setting providing rehabilitative care to our five physicians’ patients. All LAT’s are supervised by the physicians on staff. You will follow their treatment protocols and orders. Our AT’s also fit DME and provide post-op. gait training.
Other duties will include, but are not limited to: aiding in the assessment and prevention of athletic injuries and serving as a liaison between the patient, the medical doctors, support staff, and the medical assistants, customer service, answering phones, scheduling appointments, some data entry, along with various other clerical duties as directed.
The positon is to work in a rehab clinic. It is not a physician’s extender position.
Graduate of an accredited program for Athletic Training.
Proficiency preferred in: Word, Excel, Outlook and Centricity (medical software).
