Our District
- Kemp ISD, located on the picturesque shores of Cedar Creek Lake, is 45 miles Southeast of Dallas in Kaufman County and spans over 150 square miles. Kemp ISD is a 45 minute drive to downtown Dallas and a 60 minute drive to Tyler.
- Kemp ISD is comprised of 5 campuses, including: Kemp Primary School (EC-2), Kemp Intermediate School (3-5), Kemp Junior High School (6-8), Kemp High School (9-12) and an alternative campus.
- The District enrollment is 1500 students throughout the 5 campuses.
- Kemp I.S.D. meets standards in the TEA rating system.
The Jacket athletic program offers football, volleyball, basketball, cross county, powerlifting, soccer, softball, track and field, baseball, and golf.
SALARY:
226 day contract. Salary based on years of experience.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s Degree in Athletic Training or related field
Valid Texas Athletic Trainer Licensure from the Texas Department of Licensing & Regulation
Current CPR & AED certification
POSITION SUMMARY:
Plan, coordinate, and supervise all components or the athletic training program for student athletes. Work under the direction of the Athletic Director to prevent, recognize, assess, manage, treat, and recondition athletic injuries and illnesses. Also continue to build our student aide program for KISD athletics.
SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
Knowledge of therapeutic and injury prevention
Ability to provide emergency care and rehabilitation for student athletic injuries Ability to instruct and supervise student athletes and assistants
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
