JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree, Texas Athletic Training licensure, Current CPR/AED certification.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist the Head Athletic Trainer with the athletic training program including, but not limited to:

• Care, prevention, treatment and rehabilitation of athletic injuries.
• Help oversee and recruit Athletic Training Student Program including the teaching of Sports Medicine I and Sports Medicine II classes.
• Maintain records of all injuries and related documentation.
• Help to establish/improve emergency injury procedures followed by coaches and/or athletic trainers.
• Communicate effectively with parents, physicians, coaches, and other district personnel regarding injured athletes.

SALARY:              

Per Peaster ISD Salary Scale (210 Days), plus $10,000 stipend, plus $1000 for Master’s
