Primary Purpose:
Plan, coordinate, and supervise all components of the athletic training program for student-athletes; position will work with all BISD athletes
Candidate must have knowledge of Rank One or ability to learn all aspects of Rank One
Must have the ability to provide emergency care and rehabilitation for student-athlete injuries
Must have strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills and the ability to instruct and supervise student-athletes and student assistants.
Provide students with appropriate learning activities and experiences in the core academic subject area assigned to help them fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth
Enable students to develop competencies and skills to function successfully in society
Qualifications: Education/Certification:
Bachelor’s degree from accredited university
Valid license from Texas Advisory Board of Athletic Trainers
Current adult cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and automated external defibrillator (AED) certification
TSATA Sports Medicine Certificate
