Industrial Clinical Emerging Practices

The mission of the Texas State Athletic Trainers Association Emerging Practices Committee is to promote the profession of athletic training in new, non-traditional employment settings. The committee will also act as a liaison for athletic trainers in these settings to give them a direct voice to the board of directors.

College And University Committee

It is the mission of the TSATA College and University committee to promote, enhance and advance the athletic training profession in Texas Colleges and Universities. The purpose of the committee will be to identify and address issues of concern to athletic trainers in the college and university setting, and perform the duties assigned the committee by the TSATA board of directors. The committee would also like to be creating a resource tool for networking and job placement opportunities as well as avenues for high school athletic training students to use in college and university selection

TEA curriculum committee

The mission of the Texas State Athletic Trainers TEA Curriculum committee is to actively establish communication with the Texas Education Agency and professional organizations for the purpose of recognizing the licensed athletic trainers of Texas as the experts in the prevention, care, treatment and rehabilitation of injuries occurring to individuals that participate in sports and fitness activities.

The purpose of the TEA Curriculum Committee is to develop Sports Medicine I & II Curriculums and Instructor’s Course.
